Bud Sidebar Stories

These are stories which don't fit comfortably into the White Chronicles series.
They take place at different times, different places; the words are spoken by people we haven't met before.
Essentially confessions, each story is told as if to an interviewer--a biographer, perhaps.
Although not part of the cycle of the Chronicles, they are still part of the same universe--
there should not be anything in any of these stories that contradicts anything in the Chronicles.

* Doris * -a Bud story by Mary Anne (MsMAC) The events in this story take place during the same approximate time period as the movie. (*contains coarse language)

* The Woman Upstairs * -a Bud story by Mary Anne (MsMAC) Set earlier than the movie, when Wendell would still have been a uniformed officer. (*contains coarse language)

* The Italian * -a Bud story by Mary Anne (MsMAC) Set far earlier than the movie, while Bud is in the service. I couldn't make the time frame come out correctly (or to my satisfaction) if Bud was in the service during the Korean War, so this story is set during the end of WWII. He would have been very young. (*contains coarse language)
